COSMO NOTE

▶The paper used in this document is Cosmo Air Light, which was selected by overseas ink fans as the number one for ink color development.

The Cosmo Air Light paper used in this document was awarded number one in the "Search for Comfortable Writing Paper" event held by Yamamoto Paper Co. at the 2019 San Francisco Pen Show with fountain pen enthusiasts.

The points that were praised were that the "shading of the ink is beautiful" and that the "sheening is easy to achieve." From there, we began to communicate that Cosmo Air Light is ideal for fountain pen ink.

▶COSMO NOTE's Attention to Detail

Design: It took 6 months to finalize the design of COSMO NOTE.

In keeping with the name "COSMO," which means universe, world, and harmony, we focused on a simple and universal design.

The cover features G.F Smith's Colorplan Smoke from the UK, which has a rich texture while maintaining a calm and serene atmosphere.

By finishing with a cold cloth backed with paper, woven from alternating vertical and horizontal threads without using vinyl cloth, we expressed environmental awareness and purity.

The gold leaf of "COSMO NOTE" struck by the cold gauze looks just like a newly born star.

"The cover features a special Tokai Paper Tant Select, characterized by a texture that stimulates the senses and a gentle off-white that welcomes you into the world of creativity."

This text has been made plain so that it can be used freely without restrictions on its purpose.

It comes with a 12mm ruled and 6mm grid underlay.

▶Bookbinding [Thread sewing]

Open and close it multiple times a day. It opens flat to 180 degrees, or can be bent 360 degrees.

Notebooks require binding that can withstand harsh environments. COSMO NOTE is bound using a method called "thread stitching."

"Sewing thread is passed through 12 places approximately every 15mm across all pages, ensuring that the pages do not come apart even after a long time."

Hardcover books and notebooks also use thread binding.

▶Bookbinding [Rounded corners]

Furthermore, the edges of the notebook are rounded. This prevents the corners of the notebook from bending.

It may be just a minor adjustment, but over a long period of use, it can make a significant difference.
