Terms of Service

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

These Terms of Service define the conditions for using the Hachimonjiya Online Store, operated by Hachimonjiya Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”).
By using our services, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users must not engage in the following conduct:

  • Acts that violate laws or public order and morals

  • Providing false information or engaging in fraudulent activity

  • Infringing on the rights or interests of third parties

  • Interfering with our business operations or damaging our reputation

  • Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company

Article 3 (Orders and Contract Formation)

A purchase agreement is considered concluded when the user places an order and the Company accepts it.
Some products may not be eligible for international shipping due to manufacturer restrictions. Such items may not be visible or available for checkout in international markets.

Orders placed via third-party forwarding services (including international forwarding agencies) are not accepted. Since we are unable to provide product guarantees or customer support for shipments handled through such services, and to prevent purchases made for resale purposes, we may cancel such orders at our sole discretion.

Article 4 (Prices, Shipping Fees, Payment Methods, and Timing)

  • Product prices are as displayed on the product pages.

  • Shipping fees are ¥550 (tax included) within Japan. For international shipping, fees vary based on the weight and size of the order. Please refer to our [Shipping Policy] for details.

  • Accepted payment methods include credit card,  PayPal, and other methods designated by the Company. For details, please refer to [Payment Methods].

  • Payments made via credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay will be charged at the time of shipment.

  • Convenience store payments (available for domestic orders only) require payment completion prior to shipment.＊Depending on your credit card company, the amount may appear on your statement or in a notification email immediately after placing your order.

  • Payments via Paidy (available for domestic orders only) must be completed by the due date specified by Paidy.

  • Cash on delivery payments (available for domestic orders only) must be made at the time of receipt.

Article 5 (Shipping, Customs Duties, and Import Taxes)

  • Shipping methods and delivery timelines are as described in our [Shipping Policy].

  • For international orders, all customs duties, import taxes, and other local fees are the responsibility of the customer. Since regulations vary by country, please confirm in advance before placing an order.

Article 6 (Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations)

  • Returns and exchanges are accepted only for unopened and unused items within 8 days of delivery. Please refer to our [Refund Policy] for details.

  • For international orders, additional shipping fees, customs duties, or other costs may apply for returns or exchanges.

Article 7 (Handling of Personal Information)

  • We appropriately manage and handle users’ personal information in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].

  • We do not provide personal information to third parties except where required by law, with user consent, or for other legitimate reasons.

  • We may use external services such as Google for website improvement and advertising. Please refer to our [Privacy Policy] regarding the use of cookies and related information collection.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

We shall not be held responsible for delays, non-delivery, or damages caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, shipping accidents, customs seizures, or system failures.
We kindly ask for your understanding in advance.
In cases where a user violates these Terms or causes harm to the Company through fraudulent or illegal activity, the Company reserves the right to claim appropriate compensation from the user.

Article 9 (Disclaimer Regarding Linked Sites)

The Company bears no responsibility for the content of third-party websites or services linked from our site.
Please review the terms and policies of each linked site and use them at your own discretion and responsibility.

Article 10 (Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights)

All content on this site (including text, images, and logos) is the property of the Company or its rightful owners.
Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

Article 11 (Changes to Terms)

We may modify these Terms without prior notice. The revised Terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of the site after such posting constitutes acceptance of the changes.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute between the user and the Company, the court with jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s head office shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
