Takahata Town, located in the southeastern part of Yamagata Prefecture, is a peaceful village of Mahoroba surrounded by the Ou Mountains.
In this basin blessed with temperature differences and rich soil, the history of grape growing dates back to the late 19th century.
Established in 1990, the Takahata Winery further spread the name of the town as a famous production area for wine grapes.
In the early morning of autumn, the harvest day of the grapes grown with care. Morning dew drips on the ripe skin, and the grape color like a painting is pleasing to us.
The grapes of Takahata Town, which is rich in nature, are expressed in soft purple with the autumn air.
