In Japanese, "cherry" refers to "Sakuranbo" (さくらんぼ), the fruit of the cherry tree.
Yamagata Prefecture is Japan’s leading producer of cherries, often referred to as the “Kingdom of Cherries.”
More than 30 varieties are cultivated here.
The peak season runs from mid-June to late July, and we took inspiration from Satonishiki—a variety known for its perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, and its jewel-like ruby shine.
● Here is the 3-color set with "La France" and "Shonai Persimmon".
●Ink with a transparency like juicy fruit in a glass pen.
