Lake Gassan, located in Nishikawa Town, Yamagata Prefecture, is a lake connected to the Sagae River, known for its clear waters.
The area gathers its abundant blessings deep within the bosom of Mt. Gassan, the sacred mountain that stands tall in the center of the prefecture.
As the sun sets and the moon rises, the brightness of the day changes completely and a solemn night air envelops the area.
