A one-of-a-kind inkpot in the shape of an apple.

This is a 100% handmade item by Koji Murayama, a glass artist from Yamagata. You can feel the human warmth in this piece, something that you can't get from industrial products.

The stem of the apple, which serves as the lid, is carved to fit the shape of each apple.

It is made by melting sand from the sacred mountain of Mt. Gassan in Yamagata and the Sahara Desert in faraway Africa.

The soft, beautiful colors created by the melting natural sand add a gentle touch to your desk.
