This ink series captures the colors of the sky as it transforms through the seasons of Tohoku.
About TOHOKU BASIC INK
A collection themed around the seasonal transitions of Tohoku — a region in the northeastern part of Japan — from winter to spring, and spring to early summer, expressing the fleeting beauty of these shifting moments in color.
NE6 TOHOKU BUNGU LAB.
A collaborative project formed by stationery stores from all six prefectures of Tohoku, under the concept of “Sharing the charm of Tohoku through stationery.”
Since 2020, the group has developed various products that draw interest to the region, including collaborations with mizutama, an illustrator based in Yamagata.
