How to make an Apple Ink Pot -Part 2
Mr. Murayama is a glass artist who "melts the earth" by making glass from raw materials.
Selected for the raw materials of the apple ink pot: the sacred mountain of Yamagata, Mt. Gassan.

●The sand of Mt. Gassan. Surprisingly white. What a color this sand is!

- Sneak into the workshop. Glass melting furnace (left) and glass annealing furnace (center)
After the meeting, Mr. Murayama contacted me a few weeks later.
"It's good," he said.
Unable to contain my excitement, I jumped in the car and headed to the workshop.
And here is what we met

●The stem of the apple becomes a lid, and ink is put into the cavity inside the apple.
When you line up three of them, each one has a slightly different shape, just like a real apple!
Mr. Murayama's technology has given shape to the concept of "the only ink pot in the world that makes you feel relaxed and happy to draw."
