Inspired by the 1,200-Year-Old Kubo zakura Cherry Blossom Tree
This fountain pen is inspired by the majestic “Kubozakura” a celebrated cherry blossom tree in Nagai City, Yamagata Prefecture, which is also designated as a National Natural Monument of Japan.
The soft pink of the barrel and cap evokes the delicate petals, the clear pink of the finial cap represents the buds, and the pink gold accents on the ring and clip reflect the color of the tree’s branches.
Tiny glass flakes known as "Meta Shine" are embedded in the body to recreate the sparkling beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom.
The nib is laser-engraved with a motif that traces the sakura's journey—from budding to full bloom—capturing the elegant spirit of the flower in a single pen.
Its compact, palm-sized design makes it the perfect companion for planners and on-the-go writing.
