Ajisai Glass Pen
Ajisai Glass Pen
A collaborative glass pen with Jerjertu Coffee.
This design is inspired by the hydrangea path at Deshio Monjudo Temple in Yamagata City, also known as “Ajisai-dera” — the Hydrangea Temple. “Ajisai” is the Japanese word for hydrangea.
Inside the transparent barrel are pale blue and purple glass beads reminiscent of hydrangeas. Sparkling cubic zirconia pieces, designed to evoke raindrops, add a delicate shimmer and capture the fresh scenery of hydrangeas blooming along the temple path during Japan’s rainy season.
Each time you pick up the pen and tilt it, the pieces inside the barrel gently flow, revealing a cool, refreshing expression like hydrangeas after the rain.
A glass pen that captures the early summer scenery of Yamagata.
