Tanabata Turquoise Glitter
*Please note that there is a purchase limit in place. Orders for purposes other than personal use (e.g., for resale) are not allowed.
This ink is inspired by “Tanabata Jelly,” a dessert beloved in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
Often served in school lunches on Tanabata—the traditional Japanese Star Festival celebrated on July 7—it is known as a special seasonal treat. In Japan, it is sometimes served slightly frozen and eaten by gently breaking it apart with a small paper spoon.
Available only once a year, it brings a quiet sense of excitement and marks the season in a memorable way. This ink captures that refreshing and gentle impression in a soft, light blue tone.
With its cool transparency and a subtle sweetness in color, it evokes the feeling of summer air and the atmosphere of Tanabata.
Two versions are available: a pure, non-shimmering edition, and a shimmer version inspired by the star-shaped topping often placed on the jelly.
